Once again, the next March 4th we will participate in the Valencia Test Academy organized by NexoQA, at present on a master class to explain how we begin a project with focus on devops tecniques.
It’s been several years that we do these collaborations, and if we participate it’s because we like this kind of events very much where we not only explain how we do things in Apiumtech but, also, because we always come back with new ideas that makes us better, and new aproaches to put into practice. It’s interesting, but we learn as much or even more than what we’re going to teach.
The teachers in this event are as usual, very strong in their matters, and I honestly would come if I’d have the opportunity, because
testing itself, from a engineer perspective it’s not only a way to assure quality, but a strong path to develop high valuable features
that brings value to your users, so to the business.
Devops Master Class
The master class that we are going to teach will be about continuous delivery and seed projects. It is a topic that I consider exciting, since we are constantly creating new projects where we ask ourselves what we should integrate into the project and how … always with the fear of the over-engineering shadow on us…
Do not expect super modern tools and new disruptive methodologies. What we do is known for many years and the tools are the same as always:
- a git repository
- a good IDE
- jenkins
- docker
- jmeter
We think that if you know at the logical level the responsibility of each tool, then it is possible to determine in a safe way if I can or should make the change to some other tool that brings me more…
I wait for all who can attend, the time to beat the keyboard is about to come!
