23rd of July Apiumtech went to Aijec summer dinner.
As you may remember from our previous blog posts, Aijec is an independent association of young and successful companies in Catalunya, Spain.
All members were invited to celebrate summer and discuss this year’s achievements.
The event took place in the restaurant Cangrejo Loco – an amazing place in the port of Barcelona with an incredible view on the sea and the Hotel Arts.
It was a real pleasure to be there, as we had the opportunity to meet people we already knew; some of us studied together, some of us were professors of marketing or innovation and some of us worked together on the same projects, etc. And it was actually fantastic to be reunited again.
We discussed top trends and customer experience nowadays. We shared our ideas and discussed how to provide a better service and how to increase customer satisfaction through out the whole process, dealing with a brand. Also, we got to meet people with whom we share the same thoughts – that agile project management is not only about IT, it ‘s about management as a whole. For example at Apiumtech we are agile even in the marketing department and we got insights from others, who also noticed that now every company is trying to move towards an Agile direction.
Also, another theme discussed was scalability – in fact, it is extremely important for companies to know that they have an opportunity to grow. Companies from different industries shared their methods and we explained why Apiumtech opened an office in Vietnam, why we do offshoring – to have scalability by getting young talents from Vietnam, Saigon as the IT industry is booming there and that allows us to complete more projects and provide high-quality services.
And the last topic that we discussed was Digital Marketing and the way Marketers use technology and we came to the conclusion that now Marketers use technology not less but may be even more than CIOs, CTOs etc.
This year it became popular to introduce new job title : CMT – chief marketing technologist because for the marketing departments, it is extremely important to have an excellent web, app, CRM program, effective communication and new technologies to stay competitive in the market.
Even though Apiumtech is a new member of Aijec, we felt like we are a member of the family. Next event will be in September, follow our Blog, follow us on social media and you will see more pictures and news from Aijec meetings.
